Equipment

20 cm Baking Dish
Aluminium Foil

Ingredients

  • 1 large Ripe Banana
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup or Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Melted Butter
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • ½ cup Blueberries

For Serving

  • Greek Yogurt or Cream
  • Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 190 degree C (374 degree F). Take your 20 cm baking dish ready.
  • Take ripe banana in the baking dish. Use a fork to mash the ripe banana in the baking dish.
  • Now add in egg, milk, baking powder, ground cinnamon, vanilla, salt, melted butter and mix well.
  • Now add in the rolled oats into this mixture. Mix the oats with the wet ingredients. Sprinkle blueberries all over the oatmeal.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil and place it into the preheated oven. Bake for 35 minutes covered. Now remove the foil, bake for another 5 minutes until the top is light golden in colour.
  • Remove the baking dish from oven and let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Serve baked oatmeal with greek yogurt or whipped cream and maple syrup. Enjoy warm.
