This is one of the kulambu which i make often, the only thing i do is change the veggies added in this. It is so easy to make and you will love it for sure..

1 Brinjal chopped 1 Drumstick chopped 1 teaspoon Tamarind Pulp or to taste Salt to taste For Dal: ½ cup Yellow Moong Dal / Pasi Paruppu ½ teaspoon Salt 1½ cup Water For Masala: ½ cup Coconut grated 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder 1 tablespoon Coriander Powder / Malli Podi 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi For Seasoning: 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds / Kaduku
Take dal in a pan, add water and turmeric. Bring it to boil, cover and simmer till the dal is cooked. Set aside.
Take the grinding masala ingredients in a blender and make it into a fine puree. Set aside.
Take brinjal and drumstick in a kadai, Add in little salt and water. Cook till the veggies are done.
Now add in dal, and mix well. Add in tamarind pulp and simmer for few more mins.
Add in masala and mix well. Bring it to boil.
Now make seasoning by heating oil and crackling mustard. POur this into the curry and mix well.
Serve.
