This is one of the kulambu which i make often, the only thing i do is change the veggies added in this. It is so easy to make and you will love it for sure..

Ingredients for Brinjal & Drumstick Dal Recipe
- Brinjal - 1 chopped
- Drumstick - 1 chopped
- Tamarind Pulp - 1 tsp or to taste
- Salt to taste
For Dal:
- Yellow Moong Dal / Pasi Paruppu - ½ cup
- Salt - ½ tsp
- Water - 1.5 cup
For Masala:
- Coconut - ½ cup grated
- Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder / Malli Podi - 1 tblspn
- Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp
Seasoning:
- Coconut Oil - 1 tblspn
- Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
How to make Brinjal & Drumstick Dal Recipe
- Take dal in a pan, add water and turmeric. Bring it to boil, cover and simmer till the dal is cooked. Set aside.
- Take the grinding masala ingredients in a blender and make it into a fine puree. Set aside.
- Brinjal and drumstick in a kadai, Add in little salt and water. Cook till the veggies are done.
- Now add in dal, and mix well. Add in tamarind pulp and simmer for few more mins.
- Add in masala and mix well. Bring it to boil.
- Now make seasoning heating oil and crackling mustard. Pour this into the curry and mix well.
- Serve.

Ingredients
- 1 Brinjal chopped
- 1 Drumstick chopped
- 1 tsp Tamarind Pulp or to taste
- Salt to taste
For Dal:
