Ingredients
  

  • Cabbage - 3 cups sliced thinly
  • Green chilli - 1 chopped finely
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblspn
  • Cumin seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon or to taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Gram Flour - 8 tblspn
  • Rice flour - 4 tblspn
  • Baking Soda - 1 tsp
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Take a bowl add all the ingredients from cabbage to turmeric powder.Mix well with your hands till they are combined.
  • Add in gram flour and rice flour in it.
  • Mix well with your hands. Add few splashes of water if needed.
  • Heat oil for deep frying.
  • When the oil is hot. drop few spoonful of the batter over the oil. Don't crowd the oil too much.
  • Cook them on both sides till they are golden.
  • Drain them on a paper towel.
  • Serve with ketchup.
