Cabbage Pakora Recipe
If i want some quick side dish when i have no time to make anything for lunch or when i feel like eating something hot on a rainy day or a cold day, then pakoras are the answers. I make it with a whole lot of different stuffs..You can checkout the array of pakoras in my blog here..
Specially i love onions pakoras, that is my favourite one. I also love cabbage pakoras because they taste somewhat like onion pakoras. So hope you will give it a try and let me know what you think.

How to Make Cabbage Pakora Recipe
- Take a bowl add all the ingredients from cabbage to turmeric powder.Mix well with your hands till they are combined.
- Add in gram flour and rice flour in it.
- Mix well with your hands. Add few splashes of water if needed.
- Heat oil for deep frying.
- When the oil is hot. drop few spoonful batter over the oil. Don't crowd the oil too much.
- Cook them on both sides till they are golden.
- Drain them on a paper towel. Serve with ketchup.

Cabbage Pakora Recipe | Muttai Kose Pakoda Recipe
Ingredients
- Cabbage - 3 cups sliced thinly
- Green chilli - 1 chopped finely
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblspn
- Cumin seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
- Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp or to taste
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Gram Flour - 8 tblspn
- Rice flour - 4 tblspn
- Baking Soda - 1 tsp
- Water as needed
- Oil for deep frying

Take sliced cabbage in a bowl |

give everything a good mix |
add both the flours |

heat oil |
drop small portion of the pakora |
fry till golden brown |

Wow, I have to try this immediately. My husband pretty much hates cabbage, but loves deep fries. I wonder if this pakora could convince him to give the cabbage some love 🙂

@Yasubra Muthalaganu can use wheat flour, it will give diff taste

@Anonymousu can skip it and use baking powder..If u skip it completely then it will be little dense
