Ingredients
  

  • Spinach-3 cups chopped
  • Chickpeas / Kondakadalai-1 cup cooked or 1 can drained
  • Onion-1 sliced
  • Tomato-2 chopped
  • Chilli powder-1 tsp
  • Coriander powder / Malli podi-1 tblspn
  • Turmeric powder / Manjal podi-1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder-1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds / Jeerakam-1 tsp
  • Oil-1 tblspn
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a kadai and crackle some cumin seeds.
  • Add in onions and cook for 3 mins. Add in all the spice powders and mix well.
  • Throw in chopped tomatoes and mix well.
  • Season with some salt and mix well.
  • Add in spinach and mix well.Throw in chickpeas also..
  • Mix well.Pour in some water and cover and simmer for 5 -10 mins.
  • Serve it with roti or rice.
