Cheese Puri, Stuffed Cheese Puri which has a onion cheese filling inside the puri and fried till golden. The cheese inside gets molten and taste amazing.

Ingredients
  

FOR PURI DOUGH:

  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Sooji / Rava - 2 tblsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tblsp
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

FOR FILLING:

  • Cheese - 1 cup grated
  • Onion - 1 finely chopped
  • Green Chillies - 1 chopped finely

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, sooji, salt, 1 tblsp oil in a bowl. Add little water little at a time and shape it into a dough.
  • Set aside for 30mins.
  • Mix all ingredients for filling and set aside.
  • Take some dough and toll it gently.
  • Spoon some filling in and seal it well.
  • Roll it gently and Set aside.
  • Deep fry in hot oil and fry till golden.
  • Drain and serve hot.

Notes

1)You can make the puri dough in a big batch and store in fridge for a week.
2)Make filling a day ahead and store in fridge.
3)Use any cheese. I used cheese slice. You could use cheddar, mozzarella as well.
4)Any finely chopped vegetables can be added.
5)Instead of making this in puri, you can cook on a tawa as paratha.
6)This makes a great kids friendly recipe too.
7)Makes perfect lunch box or snacks box recipe too.
