Ingredients
  

  • 35 to 40 Dry Red Chillies
  • 1 cup Coriander Seeds / Mullu Kothamalli
  • 2 tblspn Chana Dal / Kadala Paruppu
  • 2 tblspn Toor Dal / Tuvaram Paruppu
  • 2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam
  • 1 tblspn Whole Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi
  • 1 tblspn Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi

Instructions
 

  • Take all the ingredients except turmeric and asafoetida in a pan and dry roast them on low heat till golden.
  • Now add in turmeric and asafoetida. Mix well. Cool this completely.
  • Take this in a blender and powder them finely.
  • Take them in a air tight container and use in your dishes
