Chicken spring rolls recipe, a popular Indo Chinese appetizer. It is made with spring roll wrappers filled with chicken and vegetables and deep fried till super crispy. Serve fried spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce for a delicious appetizer.
Start by making the filling, Heat oil in a pan, add in garlic and saute for a min. Add in chicken and saute for a min. Add in little soy sauce and mix well.
Now add in onions and cook that for a min. Once onions is sauted, add in all veggies and mix well for 4 minutes. Now Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
Now add in salt, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, MSG, black pepper powder. Mix well and cook that for 2 more minutes. Now the filling is done, set aside in a plate so it cools down.
Remove the spring roll sheets from freezer 30 minutes before making the spring rolls so it can come to room temp. Take all purpose flour in a bowl, add in water and make it into a paste. This is for sticking the spring rolls.
Now take a sheet of spring roll sheet in front of you. Keep the rest covered so it doesn't dry out. Spoon in filling in. Roll from one side, when you have rolled half way through. Fold both ends and apply the flour paste and roll it.
Now heat oil for deep frying and fry spring rolls till golden brown on both sides. Strain on some paper towel and serve hot with ketchup or sweet chilli sauce.
