Chocolate chip ice cream is a creamy dessert that is loved by people of all ages. Take cms, gms, cocoa, corn starch in a bowl and add 1 cup milk to it and make it into a smooth paste. Set aside.
Take remaining milk and sugar in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Now simmer this for 5 mins. Now add in the mixed cocoa mix in this and keep mixing. It will thicken immediately. Now boil this for 1 or 2 min.
Now pour this in a bowl and add in vanilla and mix well. Now cool this down and pour it in a shallow freezer safe container and freeze for 3 to 4 hours.
Now take it out and use a electric beater or a blender and blend this for 5 to 6 mins till the mix gets light and frothy.

Now add in chocolate chips and mix well. Now freeze overnight. Now for serving, scoop the ice cream in a bowl and serve immediately.
Notes
Don’t boil the milk, just heat the milk until it just starts to simmer. Boiling can change the texture and flavour.
Add some fresh cream for extra richness.
If you don’t have the stabilizer like CMC GMS, then whisk or beat the ice cream once or twice while freezing to reduce iciness.
Strain the base through a sieve before freezing to get a silky smooth ice cream.
Add chopped brownies, nuts, cookie pieces or chocolate chunks for added texture and taste.
