Creamy Mashed Potatoes Recipe (Easy, Step by Step)
Creamy Mashed Potatoes Recipe, are one of the ultimate comfort foods that has a silky smooth, buttery texture and taste so delicious. This is my go-to side dish that turns perfectly soft and smooth every single time without fail. It is perfect to have for lunch, dinner or make them for special festive occasions. These mashed potatoes pairs perfectly with any gravies, roasted vegetables or meat for a complete and satisfying meal.
Take potatoes in a sauce pan, cover with water. Add a generous pinch of salt and bring it to a boil. once it boils, simmer the flame and cook till potatoes are tender.
Now strain them, take it in the same pan. Mash it with a potato masher. Set aside.
Now in another sauce pan, take milk, cream, butter and warm it slightly. Now pour this in the potatoes little by little and fold gently. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg and fold gently. Serve warm.
