Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 5 cloves Garlic peeled & sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger peeled & grated
  • 4 no Shallots / Sambar Onion / Chinna Ulli peeled & chopped finely
  • 1 medium Tomatoes chopped finely
  • 4 cups Drumstick Leaves packed measured
  • 6 cups Water
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper Powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a sauce pan. Add in cumin seeds and let it sizzle. Add in garlic, ginger and saute for a minute.
  • Add in shallots and saute for 2 mins or so. Add in tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy. Add in drumstick leaves and saute for 4 to 5 mins.
  • Pour in water and cook for 5 mins. Season with salt and pepper. You can puree this using a hand blender before serving, or enjoy as it is too. Serve hot.
