Eggnog Recipe (Eggnog without Alcohol)

Eggnog is a classic creamy drink that is made especially during Christmas. Because it has no alcohol, everyone in the family can enjoy it. With very few ingredients like milk, sugar, egg, cream and spices you can make this creamy drink. Serve it cold and top it with whipped cream, caramel syrup or chocolate sauce and enjoy.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Egg Yolks
  • cup Granulated Sugar
  • cup Whole Full Fat Milk
  • ¾ cup Heavy Cream
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Take egg yolk in a bowl, add sugar and whisk till pale and frothy. Set aside.
  • Take milk, cream, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves in a sauce pan and heat till it begins to simmer.
  • Now add the hot milk and cream to the egg yolk mixture and whisk well. Now pour it back into the sauce pan and cook on very low heat till it thickens.
  • Once it thickens, strain this using a fine mesh sieve. Add in some vanilla and mix well. Chill for 4 to 6 hours. Pour it into serving glass and enjoy.
