Pallipalayam chicken is made with chicken, red chillies and garlic which are slow cooked in a kadai. You can serve this with plain rice or rasam rice. It taste fantastic.
Heat oil in a pan. Add dry chillies, curry leaves, garlic and shallots. Saute for a min. Add in crushed onions, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
Add in chicken and toss well with the masala. Cover and cook on low heat until chicken is cooked.
Add in coconut, more curry leaves and toss on low to medium heat till the chicken is fried. Serve.
