Equipment

chocolate mould
Microwave or Double Boiler

Ingredients

  • 250 grams Dark Chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon Orange Zest I used Orange & Green
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil

Dried Fruits, Nuts & Seeds

  • 2 tablespoon Almonds roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Cashews roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Walnuts roughly chopped
  • 4 no Dried Apricots roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Dried Cranberries
  • 2 tablespoon Golden Raisins
  • 2 tablespoon Sunflower Seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Pumpkin Seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Memon Seeds

Instructions

  • Take your chocolate mould. I used my large dubai chocolate mould. Add nuts and dried fruits in which ever pattern you like.
  • Take chopped dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Add in coconut oil and pop it into microwave. Melt it on high for 10 seconds interval. Remove every 10 seconds and give a mix so the chocolate melts evenly. It will take around 30 to 40 seconds for the chocolate to be completely melted. Alternatively you can melt them over a double boiler.
  • Remove from microwave and mix really well so the chocolate is melted and smooth. Add in orange zest and mix well.
  • Now pour this over the dried fruits and nuts. Gently tap to spread evenly.
  • Place this in fridge or freezer for 1 hour. De mould and break into barks. Enjoy as it is or pack it and give as gifts.
