Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup Gingelly Oil (60 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup All purpose flour (120 grams)
  • 3 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • Water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 200 degree C.
  • Mix oil, sugar, salt, baking power in a bowl and mix well.
  • Add in sesame seeds and mix well.
  • Add in flour and knead to a soft dough, If the dough is too dry, add little water.
  • Roll it into a square and cut into squares,
  • Pop it in a baking sheet and bake for 20 mins.
  • Remove and cool.
  • Serve.

Notes

  • You can use wheat flour instead of regular flour.
  • I used gingelly oil for the flavour, you can use melted butter, ghee or any oil.
  • Sesame seeds can be used for the crunch in cookies. 
  • Sugar can be skipped if you don't want the cookies to be sweet. 

Serving & Storage

Bake and cool the cookies completely. Store in an air container and it stays good for a week. These cookies can be served with a cup of tea or coffee.
