Green apple juice is an easy and quick recipe that hardly takes only 10 minutes to make using a blender. This is a delicious, nutrient-packed drink that supports immunity, promotes digestion and gives you a natural energy boost. The balance of the tartness from the apples and lemon, sweetness from the sugar and the refreshing chill from the ice makes it a perfect drink for post workout , party or for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 large Green Apple
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar or Honey
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 5 piece Ice cubes
  • 1 cup Cold water

Instructions
 

  • Cut apple, remove seeds and chop them,Take them in a blender and add little water, puree smoothly.
  • Pour this through a sieve and strain it. Add in sugar, salt, lemon juice in and mix well.
  • Take a glass, add some ice cubes, pour juice in and mix well. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you like to add cucumber to drink, choose seedless cucumber because it is easy to blend.
  • Ginger root if added gives you the best flavour. Wash and peel the skin and add it while grinding. Don’t use dried ginger.
  • For an extra boost of flavour, you can add mint leaves or basil leaves.

Storage & Serving

Store the juice in a container for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. You can also store by pouring in an ice cube tray like individual portions upto 4 months. Pop the cubes when needed and add some warm water and enjoy it on thego.

  • You can serve these healthy juices in shot glass.
  • These juices can be poured in an ice cube tray and served like flavoured cubes.
  • For the adult version, you can also spike it by adding vodka, tequilla, whiskey.
