Homemade Tahini Recipe | How to Make Tahini

Homemade Tahini Paste Recipe with step by step pictures. This paste is made from sesame seeds and it is so quick to make which takes just two ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup White Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions
 

  • Roast sesame seeds on a dry pan till it gets toasty and golden.
  • Remove them to a paper and let them cool.
  • Take it in a blender and powder them. Scrape the sides and powder again till the oil from the seeds starts coming out.
  • Now add in 1 tblspn of oil and puree again till it gets like a thick paste.
  • Add one more tblspn of oil and puree till smooth.
  • Pour this in a bowl and let it cool.
  • Now store this in a air tight container and store it in fridge.

Notes

1)Add oil little at a time till smooth.
2)The consistency should be little thin, creamy.
3)Store this in air tight container in fridge, it will stay good for more than 2 months.
