    Homemade Tahini Paste

Tahini, whenever you look for any recipes from the lebanese cuisine, one of the main ingredient which it calls for is tahini. It may sound like a exotic ingredient but it is basically ground sesame seed with olive oil to a smooth paste. It can be found easily online or in any hyper super market. But it is quite expensive. I can never think of spending so many bucks on a stuff which can be easily made at home. So here you go, I am delivering you the super simple recipe for the exotic tahini..

Homemade Tahini Recipe Step by Step

You will need two ingredients..sesame seeds and olive oil..
You have to use white sesame seeds
First take them in a kadai
    Roast them till golden
remove them to a paper and let them cool
now use your small blender jar
    add the cooled seed in
    cover it and blend
    blend them a little
use a knife to scrape the sides

    cover and blend again
now it has started to turn little moist, because the oil from the sesame seed has started to come out
now add in 1 tblspn of olive oil
    blend this again
it will turn little more moist now
    add another tblspn of oil
    blend again
you see now it has turned into liquid consistency
puree again for few more mins till it gets super smooth and creamy

    just like this
pour it into a bowl, and let it cool
now you can use this in your recipes or store in an air tight container in fridge
