Tahini, whenever you look for any recipes from the lebanese cuisine, one of the main ingredient which it calls for is tahini. It may sound like a exotic ingredient but it is basically ground sesame seed with olive oil to a smooth paste. It can be found easily online or in any hyper super market. But it is quite expensive. I can never think of spending so many bucks on a stuff which can be easily made at home. So here you go, I am delivering you the super simple recipe for the exotic tahini..

- White Sesame Seeds - 1 cup
- Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
How to Make Homemade Tahini Recipe
- Roast sesame seeds on a dry pan till it gets toasty and golden.
- Remove them to a paper and let them cool.
- Take it in a blender and powder them. Scrape the sides and powder again till the oil from the seeds starts coming out.
- Now add in 1 tbsp of oil and puree again till it gets like a thick paste.
- Add one more tbsp of oil and puree till smooth.
- Pour this in a bowl and let it cool.
- Now store this in a air tight container and store it in fridge.

2)The consistency should be little thin, creamy.
3)Store this in air tight container in fridge, it will stay good for more than 2 months.
