2cupsAll Purpose flour (Plain flour)+ more as needed
1½teaspoonDry Yeast
1tablespoonSugar
2teaspoonSalt to taste
¾cupWarm Wateror as needed
1tablespoonOlive oil
Instructions
Take a mixing bowl. Add in dry yeast, sugar in the bowl. Pour warm water over the yeast and mix. Let it rest for 5 minutes until the yeast activate and get foamy.
Now add in plain flour, salt to the yeast water and use a spoon or fork to bring the dough together. Add olive oil and knead it once. Apply oil all over it generously. Cover it with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and Set this aside in a warm place till it doubles in size( for about 1 hour).
When it has doubled in size, knock out the air and gently remove it to a work surface. Now divide the dough into equal portions.
Take one portion and roll it into rounds. You can use a bowl to cut out perfect round which is optional. Set this aside on a flour dusted work surface. Prick it with fork all over.
Now put this in a pan and put it on low heat, cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 3 to 5 mins. It will puff up slightly. Now flip over and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove the base and place on a wire rack and let it cool down.
Once it is cooled, you can store this in a ziploc bag and store in fridge for a week.
