Ingredients
  

  • Kambu Maavu / Pearl Millet Flour - 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Water as needed
  • Fresh Coconut Grated as needed

Instructions
 

  • Take pearl millet flour in a pan, dry roast till nice aroma comes from it.
  • Take it in a bowl, add salt, sugar and ghee. Mix well.
  • Add in water and rub well so it looks like coarse breadcrumbs.
  • Take your puttu maker, spoon some coconut in it, top with the flour mixture, more coconut and more flour.
  • Now steam this for 10 mins.
  • Serve.
