Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu / Besan
  • 1 cup Rice Flour / Arisi Mavu
  • 3 tablespoon Chilli Powder
  • 3 tablespoon Whole Pepper
  • 20 cloves Garlic
  • 2 teaspoon Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for Deep Frying

Instructions
 

  • Grind Pepper, Chilli powder and Garlic to a smooth paste by adding some water.
  • Take gram flour and rice flour in a bowl and add in salt. Mix this together.
  • Now add in the ground masala and hing. mix well.
  • Gradually add in water and make into a slightly sticky dough.
  • Take your desired mould(Achu) and fill it.
  • Now heat oil for deep frying. Directly pipe the whole lot straight in the oil.
  • Fry till it turns crispy and remove on a paper towel.
  • Now break it into small pieces and let it cool completely.
  • Store this in an air tight container for several weeks.
