Lemon chia drink recipe, also known as chia lemonade is a simple, refreshing and healthy drink to start your day. It is made with chia seeds, fresh lemon juice, sugar and water. The tangy lemon flavour when mixed with soft, soaked chia seeds make this drink both tasty and satisfying. It keeps your body cool and hydrated throughout the day. You can also add fresh mint for extra flavour.

Ingredients
  

For Lemon Syrup

  • ¼ cup Lemon Juice
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar

For Blooming Chia Seeds

  • 2 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • ½ cup Water

For Juice

  • 2 cups Cold Water

Instructions
 

  • Blooming Chia - Take chia seeds and water in a bowl, mix well. Put this in fridge and let it bloom for 2 hours. You can leave them overnight.
  • Make Lemon syrup - Take sugar and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well. Mix till sugar melts. Instead of sugar you can use honey too.
  • Make Drink - Now to the lemon syrup, add the bloomed chia, cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust the sugar. Mix well and serve.
