Chocolate and Strawberries are a match made in food heaven. No wonder this dish has gone viral in the streets of London. This recipe needs just 2 ingredients, so try and use the best you can find. Sweet strawberries and the best quality chocolate. Make this for your loved ones or just for yourself.
Remove the green stalks from the strawberry. Leave them whole. Take it in a bowl, cover with water and wash strawberries really well. Strain the water and pat them dry using kitchen towel.
Now let’s melt chocolate. Take chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Pop them into microwave and melt them in 10 second intervals. Make sure to give a stir every 10 seconds. Once the chocolate is completely melted, stir in oil and mix well.
Alternatively you can melt the chocolate using a double boiler. Take a sauce pan with water, bring it to a steady simmer. Take chocolates in a heat safe bowl. Place the bowl over the sauce pan. Make sure the base of the bowl doesn’t touch the hot water. Melt on low heat until the chocolate is completely melted. Remove and stir in oil. Melted chocolate is ready.
Now assemble, take a serving cup, add whole strawberries. Pour melted chocolate gently over the berries. Pour as much as you want. Enjoy immediately.

It is important to use fresh juicy strawberries. Make sure the strawberries are sweet and ripe.
Milk chocolate is best for this dessert, but you can use dark or semi sweet. Couverture chocolate is best.
When using oil, use neutral tasting oil like canola or vegetable oil. Coconut oil can impart their taste into the chocolate.
Make sure there is no water in the strawberries. Pat them dry completely.
Serve this immediately as soon as it is made.
