    About London's Viral Chocolate Strawberry

I love to recreate viral recipes from time to time. You have to check my other viral archives starting from dalgona coffee, pink sauce, cereal cookies, cottage cheese ice cream and chilli oil noodles. This chocolate strawberry has been on my bucket list for so long.

Finally few days back, I got my hands on the best tasting strawberries, immediately got into action of making these. You just need 2 ingredients to make this. Since the taste totally depends on the ingredients. Try and source the best quality you can get your hands on.

Use sweetest strawberries and the best chocolate. You can use dark chocolate if you prefer that, but I like to use either milk chocolate or semi sweet chocolate which adds to the taste.

When melting the chocolate add a spoon of oil which is optional but it helps to achieve the silky shiny texture in the melted chocolate.

The strawberries should be ripe and sweet which pairs so yummy with the dish. No more waiting make yourself a cup and enjoy. This is perfect for valentines day.

Strawberry - you will get the best taste of this dish when you use the best sweet berry. The strawberries should be ripe and sweet which pairs so yummy with the dish. Choose strawberries when they are in season because you get the best deal.

Chocolate - You can use dark chocolate if you prefer that, but I like to use either milk chocolate or semi sweet chocolate which adds to the taste.

(Optional) Oil - When melting the chocolate add a spoon of oil which is optional but helps to achieve the silky shiny texture in the melted chocolate.

    For Best Tasting Chocolate Strawberry

Picking Strawberries - Use ripe, sweet vibrant strawberries. Taste them before hand so it doesn't taste sour. Make sure to wash them well and pat them dry so it is free from any moisture.

Choosing Quality Chocolate - Use Finest chocolate which adds to the taste, I prefer using milk chocolate to dark chocolate. High quality couverture chocolate for this.

Melting - when melting chocolate in microwave, melt them in short intervals and keep mixing them in between. So the chocolate doesn't get over heated and burn.

    Step by Step Pictures

1)Remove the green stalks from the strawberry. Leave them whole. Take it in a bowl, cover with water and wash strawberries really well.

2)Strain the water and pat them dry using kitchen towel.

3)Now let's melt chocolate. Take chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Pop them into microwave and melt them in 10 second intervals.

4)Make sure to give a stir every 10 seconds.

5)Once the chocolate is completely melted, stir in oil and mix well.

6)Alternatively you can melt the chocolate using a double boiler. Take a sauce pan with water, bring it to a steady simmer. Take chocolates in a heat safe bowl. Place the bowl over the sauce pan. Make sure the base of the bowl doesn't touch the hot water. Melt on low heat until the chocolate is completely melted. Remove and stir in oil. Melted chocolate is ready.

7)Now assemble, take a serving cup, add whole strawberries. Pour melted chocolate gently over the berries. Pour as much as you want.

    8)Enjoy immediately.

    Expert Tips

    • It is important to use fresh juicy strawberries. Make sure the strawberries are sweet and ripe.
    • Milk chocolate is best for this dessert, but you can use dark or semi sweet. Couverture chocolate is best.
