If there is one brownie recipe that you have to try, then this mars bar brownies is the one. Mars bar chopped and added into a fudgy brownie batter makes it so much better than regular brownie. The chocolate and fudge in the mars bar melts and creates pocket of caramel which taste so good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Preheat oven to 180 degree C (360 degree F). Line a 9x10 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Take butter and chocolate in a microwave safe. Place the bowl into the microwave and cook at 10 seconds interval. Mix in between so it melts evenly. It will take around 30 to 40 seconds. Set aside to cool a bit.
Take eggs in a bowl, add in brown sugar and whisk till fluffy, light and pale. Now pour in the melted chocolate and mix well.
Add in plain flour and cocoa powder and fold gently until just combined. Now add in the chopped mars bar. Fold gently.
Spoon this into the prepared pan and bake for 20 to 25 mins. Remove the brownie from oven and cool completely.
Remove from the pan. Slice and serve.
