Ingredients
  

To Pressure Cook Together

  • 1 large Potato peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1 cup Fresh Mochai | Hyacinth bean
  • 2 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Water

For Tempering

  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 no Dry Red Chilli broken into small pieces
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves

To Grind

  • 1 cup Fresh Coconut grated
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2 no Dry Red Chilli
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 cloves Garlic peeled

Instructions
 

  • Take potatoes and mochai in a pressure cooker, add little water and salt. Pressure cook for 2 whistle, simmer for 5 mins. Turn off the heat and let them steam escape all by itself. Open the cooker and check whether the potatoes and mochai is cooked.
  • Grind coconut, cumin, garlic, dry red chillies and turmeric in a blender and make it into a slightly coarse puree. Set aside.
  • Heat coconut oil in a kadai. Add in mustard, dry red chilli, curry leaves and let them sizzle. Add in cooked potatoes and mochai along with the coconut masala and salt. Mix well and Cook till everything gets dry.
  • Serve with rice.
