All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup

Gram
Flour / Kadalai Mavu - ¼ cup
▢
Curd / Yogurt - ½ cup
▢
Water as needed
▢
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakm - 1 tsp
▢
Ginger - 1 teaspoon grated
▢
Onion - 4 tblspn finely chopped
▢
Green Chillies - 1 chopped finely
▢
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs chopped finely
▢
Coriander Leaves - 1 tblspn finely
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Sugar - ½ tsp
▢
Baking Soda - ½ tsp
▢
Oil for Deep frying

For Getti Chutney:
▢
Fresh Coconut - ½ cup grated
▢
Roasted Gram Dal / Pottu Kadalai - 2 tblspn
▢
Green Chillies - 3
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Water as needed
Instructions
▢
Take all the ingredients in a bowl and make it into a smooth batter.
▢
Heat oil for deep frying, drop spoonful of batter in and fry till golden.
▢
Drain and serve with chutney.
▢
For Chutney:
▢
Take all the ingredients in a mixer and make it into a smooth paste by adding little water.
▢
Serve with bajji.
