Ingredients

  • 1 cup / 120 grams All Purpose Flour / Maida
  • ½ cup / 60 grams Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu
  • ½ cup / 120 ml Ghee / Melted Butter / Oil - ½ cup / 120 ml
  • ½ cup / 100 grams Powdered Sugar
  • ½ tsp Cardamom Powder
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp or as needed Milk
  • a handful finely chopped Pista

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 Degree C. Line a baking tray with foil and set aside.
  • Take flour, gram flour, baking soda, baking powder in a bowl and mix well.
  • Take Ghee, powdered sugar, cardamom powder in a bowl and use a whisk to mix well.
  • Now add in the flour mix and fold well. Add milk and knead to a soft dough.
  • Take small portion of the dough and roll it into a ball. Dip it in chopped pista and arrange it in tray.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 mins or till golden.
  • Remove from oven and let it cool completely.
  • Store in a air tight container and Serve.

Notes

1)Addition of milk depends on the consistency of the dough. Sometimes you will need more than 1 tblspn of milk. Sometimes you need less.
2)Dont over bake the cookies, the cookies may look soft when you take them from oven and it will harden as they cools.
3)This cookies stays good for a week in a air tight container. You can store them in fridge too.
