Potato Masala Recipe for Idli & Dosa

Healthy side dish made using potatoes which taste great with idli or dosa. You can even serve it with roti as well.

- Potato - 3 boiled mashed roughly
- Oil - 1 tblsp
- Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
- Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
- Onion - 1 chopped finely
- Carrot - 1 chopped finely
- Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tblsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tblsp
- Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Heat oil in a pan. Crackle some mustard, curry leaves.
Add in onions, chillies and carrots. Saute for 2 mins.
Add in ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Add salt and mix well. Add spice powders and mix well.
Add water and bring it to a boil.
Add mashed potatoes and mix well.
Simmer for 5 mins.
Serve.
