Ingredients
  

  • 1 chopped Snake Gourd / Pudalangai
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Urad dal
  • 2 broken into pieces Dry Red Chilli
  • 1 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 cup grated Coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Grind coconut in a blender and puree till smooth.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard, urad dal, dry red chilli and let it sizzle.
  • Add in snake gourd and saute well. Add salt and water and cook till the veggies is done.
  • Now when the veggies are half done, add in spice powders and mix well. Cook for 5 mins or so.
  • Add in tamarind and mix well. Cook for 2 more mins.
  • Add in coconut and mix well. Simmer for 5 mins.
  • Serve with rice.
