Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoon Ghee
  • 2 tablespoon Yellow Moong Dal / Pasi Paruppu
  • ½ cup Quinoa
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Jaggery or Karupatti
  • ½ cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Cashews
  • 2 tablespoon Raisins
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Dry Ginger Powder

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1 teaspoon of ghee, add moong dal and roast for a min.
  • Add in quinoa and mix well.
  • Add in water and mix well.
  • Cover and cook.
  • Now jaggery syrup and cook till it thickens.
  • Add in ghee little by little and cook till it thickens.
  • Add in cardamom and dry ginger powder.
  • Fry cashews and raisins in ghee and add it in the pongal.
  • Serve.
