Quinoa Pongal Recipe | Quinoa Sweet Pongal Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 2 tbsp Yellow Moong Dal / Pasi Paruppu
- ½ cup Quinoa
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Jaggery or Karupatti
- ½ cup Water
- 2 tbsp Cashews
- 2 tbsp Raisins
- ½ tsp Cardamom Powder
- ½ tsp Dry Ginger Powder
Instructions
- Heat 1 tsp of ghee, add moong dal and roast for a min.
- Add in quinoa and mix well.
- Add in water and mix well.
- Cover and cook.
- Now jaggery syrup and cook till it thickens.
- Add in ghee little by little and cook till it thickens.
- Add in cardamom and dry ginger powder.
- Fry cashews and raisins in ghee and add it in the pongal.
- Serve.

10)Now the quinoa is cooked.
