1 Radish 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds / Kaduku 1 teaspoon Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu ½ teaspoon Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder / Jeera Podi 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi Salt to taste ½ cup Fresh Coconut grated
Peel and grate radish. Set aside. Take coconut in a mixer and pulse it few times to get a coarse mix.
Heat oil in a kadai. Add in mustard, cumin and urad dal. Saute till golden.
Add in grated radish and salt. Saute for 8 to 10 mins till the radish is cooked.
Now add in chilli, cumin and turmeric powder. Saute for 2 mins.
Add in coconut and toss well. Saute for 2 to 3 mins.
Serve.
