Ingredients
  

  • Thick Yogurt / Curd - 1.5 cup
  • Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu - 2.5 tblspn
  • Water - 1 to 2 cups
  • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tblspn
  • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
  • Ginger - 1 tblspn finely chopped
  • Onion - 1 medium size chopped finely
  • Green Chilli - 2 to 3 slit
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves a handful finely chopped
  • Sugar - ½ teaspoon or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Take yogurt, gram flour, turmeric powder in a bowl and whisk well till smooth.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and let it sizzle.
  • Add in ginger and saute for a min.
  • Add in onions, chillies and saute till golden.
  • Add in the besan mix and some water.
  • Keep whisking and bring it to a boil. Once it boils, cook on a high heat for 4 to 5 mins.
  • Now add in salt and mix well.
  • Take it off the heat and add in chilli powder and coriander leaves and little sugar. Mix well.
  • Serve with rice.
