Oosi Thenkuzhal Recipe

Ingredients

  • Rice Flour - 5 part
  • Urad dal Flour - 1 part
  • Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Ghee - 1 tblsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi a pinch
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  • Mix flour, sesame seeds, asafoetida, salt, ghee in a bowl.
  • Add water and make into a soft dough.
  • Place it in a press. Make thenkulal.
  • Deep fry in hot oil till crisp.
  • Serve.
