  • Potatoes - 4 peeled and cubed
  • Oil - 2 tblspn
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
  • Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Roasted Peanuts - 3 tblspn crushed
  • Coriander Leaves a handful chopped finely


  • Take cubed potatoes in a sauce pan, cover with water and add salt. Bring it to a boil, simmer till potatoes is done. Strain it.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin and chillies.
  • Add in potatoes and season with salt and sugar, Cook till it gets lightly golden.
  • Add in crushed peanuts and toss well. Fry this for 5 to 8 mins
  • Add in coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Serve
