Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sago ( Sabudana / Javvarisi )
  • 750 ml Milk
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk (milkmaid)
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 3 tbsp Mixed Nuts I used cashews, pista, almonds Nuts
  • 1 tsp Ghee optional

Instructions

  • Wash sago well in water, Cover them with fresh water and soak them in water for a hour. Now it must have doubled in size.
  • Take milk in a sauce pan, bring it to boil. Simmer till it has reduced a little. It will take around 15 mins.
  • Now add in sago, mix well. Simmer the flame and cook for 20 mins.
  • Now add in sugar, condensed milk and mix well.
  • Once it is mixed up, add in cardamom powder and nuts. If you wish, heat ghee and fry up the nuts and add it in.
  • Mix well and serve warm or cold.
