Homemade Sweetened Condensed Milk Recipe – How to Make Condensed Milk at Home

Sweetened condensed milk is a must have ingredient on hand. Because you can make so many delicious deserts using this universal ingredient. Starting from eggless cakes to fancy fudges..

Even though it is readily available in every supermarkets. Making it at home from scratch is pretty easy. Plus it is cheap. You can use this in all baking stuffs and all recipes which calls for sweetened condensed milk. 
This is a speedy version of homemade condensed milk using milk powder. But there are another version which uses milk and baking soda. Will share that soon as well. But i like this, because it taste very similar to store bought ones, the consistency and taste was pretty close. So hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Makes : 1.5 cups


Ingredients:

Milk Powder – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Hot Water – 1/3 cup + a little more
Butter – 3 tblspn
Salt – 1/4 tsp


Method:

Take all the ingredients in a blender except water and pulse few times so the butter it well mixed.

Now slowly add in hot water and keep blending till it reaches the desired consistency.

Pour this into a clean jar and put it in fridge. This will stay good for 10 days in fridge.

Take all your ingredients
Take sugar in a blender
add in milk powder
add in salt
add in butter
now time to blend this up
Now the butter is evenly mixed up
take some water in a sauce pan and boil it
pour hot water in this
adjust the water level as per the consistency required
puree till smooth
it may look a bit thin, but as it cools it will thicken
now pour this in a clean jar
