2 teaspoon Ghee 2 cups Spinach ½ cup Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Maavu ¼ cup Wheat Flour / Atta ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi ¼ teaspoon Chilli Powder Salt to taste ½ teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam 2 to 3 tablespoon Water 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds optional
Take all the ingredients except ghee and sesame seeds in a bowl and mix well to a sticky dough.
Now grease your hands and take small portion from it and shape it into dumpling.
Place it in a greased steamer plate and steam for 8 to 10 mins on low heat.
Now remove it and set aside.
Heat ghee in a pan, add these dumplings and saute for 2 mins till it gets little crispy, now sprinkle sesame seeds and toss well.
Serve.
