Ingredients

▢
Mushrooms - 200 grams chopped
▢
Onion - 1 large sliced thinly
▢
Capsicum - 1.5 cup chopped
I used green, yellow and red
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
▢
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
▢
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
▢
Oil - 1 tblspn + 1 tsp
▢
Unsour Thick Curd / Greek Yogurt - 3 tblspn
▢
For grinding:
▢
Cashews - 10
▢
Poppy Seeds / Kasa Kasa /Khus Kush - 2 tblspn
Instructions
▢
Soak cashews and poppy seeds in warm water for 10 mins.
▢
Heat 1 tblspn oil in a pan, add in onions and fry till golden, remove this to a blender.
▢
Drain the cashew poppy seed mix and add it to the blender, add very little water and make it into a fine paste.
▢
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan, add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
▢
Add in capsicum and saute for a min.
▢
Then add in the ground masala and cook for 2 more mins.
▢
Add in salt, chilli and turmeric powder, mix.
▢
Add in well beaten curd and mix well.
▢
Now to this add in the mushroom and toss well in the masala.
▢
Cook this for 6 to 8 mins or untill the mushroom is done.
▢
Serve with rice or roti.
