Turmeric Rice Recipe
Turmeric rice with step by step pictures. The turmeric adds nice colour and flavour to the rice which taste very mild and fragrant.
Ingredients
- Cooked Rice - 3 cups
- Oil or Butter - 2 tblspn
- Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1.5 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil or butter in a pan, add cumin and let them sizzle. Add in turmeric and mix well.
- Add in cooked rice and mix well.
- Season with salt and mix well.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Serve.
