    This fragrant turmeric rice is a doddle to make. I loved the pretty yellow colour of this and it taste just delicious and it is so aromatic. Plus turmeric has so many medicinal benefits in them.

    Turmeric Rice Ingredients 

    • Cooked Rice
    • Oil or Butter
    • Cumin Seeds
    • Turmeric Powder
    • Salt to taste
    • Coriander leaves

    How to Make Turmeric Rice

    • Heat oil or butter in a pan. Add cumin and let them sizzle. Add in turmeric and mix well.
    • cooked rice goes in and mix well.
    • Season with salt and mix well.
    • Add coriander leaves and mix well.
    • Serve.

    • Oil or Butter - 2 tblspn
    • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
    • Turmeric Powder - 1.5 tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped

    Instructions

    • Heat oil or butter in a pan, add cumin and let them sizzle. Add in turmeric and mix well.
    • Add in cooked rice and mix well.
    • Season with salt and mix well.
    • Add coriander leaves and mix well.
    • Serve.
