Fragrant Turmeric Rice Recipe

This fragrant turmeric rice is a doddle to make. I loved the pretty yellow colour of this and it taste just delicious and it is so aromatic. Plus turmeric has so many medicinal benefits in them.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 5 mins
Serves: 4


Ingredients:

Cooked Rice – 3 cups
Oil or Butter – 2 tblspn
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1.5 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped

Method;

Heat oil or butter in a pan, add cumin and let them sizzle. Add in turmeric and mix well.

Add in cooked rice and mix well.

Season with salt and mix well.

Add coriander leaves and mix well.

Serve.
