Ingredients
  

  • For Gramflour Dosa:
  • Gram flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu – 1 cup
  • Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • For Masala:
  • Oil – 4 tblspn
  • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku – 1 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu – 1 tsp
  • Onion – 1 medium size chopped finely
  • Green Chilli – 1 finely chopped
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tblspn
  • Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix everything given for gram flour dosa to a batter. The batter should be like dosa batter consistency.
  • Heat oil in a tawa and pour the dosa batter just like a dosa. Cook on one side for 3 to 4 mins and flip it over. Cook on other for 4 to 5 mins till it is completely cooked.
  • Remove them to a chopping board and finely chop them. Set this aside.
  • Heat 2 tblspn of oil in a kadai. Add in fennel seeds and mustard seeds.
  • Add in onions, green chilli and sauté for a while till it get translucent.
  • Add in ginger garlic paste and sauté for a min.
  • Now add in all the spice powders and salt. Mix this well.
  • Add in the chopped gram flour mixture and toss well with the masala.
  • Drizzle in the remaining 2 tblspn of oil and fry this for 5 to 10 mins.
  • Serve with rice and any gravy.
