Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium size peeled deseeded & cubed Cucumber
  • 2 chopped Ladys Finger / Okra
  • 2 teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander Powder / Malli Podi
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder / Jeera Podi
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • ½ cup grated Fresh Coconut
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds / Kaduku
  • 1 teaspoon Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu
  • 1 Dry Red Chilli

Instructions
 

  • Take coconut in a blender and make it into a fine paste. Set aside till use.
  • Take ladyfinger and cucumber in a kadai. Add in water and cook this for 10 mins or so, till the veggies are done.
  • Now add in cumin, chilli, coriander, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
  • Add in tamarind water and bring this to boil. Simmer for 5 mins or so.
  • Now add in coconut paste and mix well. Bring this to a boil. Switch off the heat,
  • Make seasoning by heating oil and crackling mustard seeds, urad dal and dry red chillies. Pour this over the gravy and mix well.
  • Serve with rice.
