Amma is a expert in making pulikary. I have already shared a ladyfinger pulikari recipe in this blog, this is another recipe made with cucumber. Both are kind of similar recipe but taste so good. Perfect spicyness, tangyness and saltyness..Love it with hot rice. You can check out my other kuzhambu recipes too.

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 20 to 25 mins
Serves : 4
Ingredients:
Cucumber – 1 medium size peeled, deseeded & cubed
Ladys Finger / Okra – 2 chopped
Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Coriander Powder / Malli Podi – 2 tblspn
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder / Jeera Podi – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Tamarind Pulp – 3 tblspn
Fresh Coconut -1/2 cup grated

For Seasoning:
Coconut Oil – 1 tblspn
Mustard Seeds / Kaduku – 1 tsp
Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu – 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilli – 1

Method:
Take coconut in a blender and make it into a fine paste. Set aside till use.
Take ladyfinger and cucumber in a kadai. Add in water and cook this for 10 mins or so, till the veggies are done.
Now add in cumin, chilli, coriander, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
Add in tamarind water and bring this to boil. Simmer for 5 mins or so.
Now add in coconut paste and mix well. Bring this to a boil. Switch off the heat,
