Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices Whole Wheat Bread
  • 1 large Boneless Chicken Breast cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup Cabbage sliced thinly
  • 1 medium Bell Peppers I used red, yellow and green

    (sliced thinly)

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 2 tablespoon Oil

For White Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan, add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for couple of mins. Add in oregano and mix well. Add in veggies and season with some salt and pepper. Cook for 4 to 5 mins. Set this aside in a bowl.
  • Heat some butter in the same pan, add flour and roast for a min, add in milk and cook till it thickens, add salt , sugar and pepper to taste. Now add veggies in and mix well. This is your chicken filling.
  • Take bread and fill with this, cover with another bread and toast till golden on both sides. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • You can use any vegetables like mushrooms, sweet corn, carrots.
  • Instead of using plain flour in white sauce, you can use whole wheat flour.
  • You can use oil instead of butter in white sauce.
  • Any seasonings can be used in the filling.
