French yogurt cake also known as Yogurt Cake is a soft and fluffy cake made with simple ingredients like flour, eggs, sugar, oil, baking powder, yogurt and colorful dried fruits. The yogurt adds a lovely moisture to the cake, while the eggs help achieve a light and airy texture.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 170 Degree C (340 degree F). Take a loaf pan and grease it with oil. Dust with flour generously and coat on all sides. Tap off the excess and set aside. Instead of this you can line it with parchment paper. Set this aside.
If you are using dried fruits or candied fruits in the batter. Add 1 teaspoon of plain flour to the dried fruits and toss to coat. This way the fruits will be evenly distributed all over the cake. Set aside.
Take oil, yogurt, salt, sugar, vanilla, egg in a bowl and use a whisk to mix well.
Add in flour and baking powder and mix gently. Don't over mix it. Add in dried candied fruit and fold gently.
Pour this into the prepared loaf pan mould and place into the oven. Bake for 50 to 55 mins.
Remove it from oven and let it cool for 15 mins. now demould it and cool completely. Slice and serve.
For easy and clean slicing. Chill the cooled cake for 30 mins to 1 hour before slicing.
