Ingredients
  

  • 500 ml Water
  • 1 sliced Apple
  • 1 teaspoon Green Tea leaves or Any tea leaves
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 1 inch Ginger sliced thinly
  • Honey to taste
  • Lemon Juice to taste

Instructions
 

  • Take water, cinnamon, green tea, apple and ginger in a sauce pan. Bring it to a boil. Cover and simmer the pot for 5 minutes. Turn off flame, cover with lid and let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • Strain it using a tea strainer and add honey and lemon juice to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Fresh sweet apples add natural sweetness in the tea. 
  • You can top the tea with more water and brew as required. 
  • You can add a piece of cardamom, cloves, orange peel or lemon peel for flavour. 
  • Any tea leaves can be used. 

Storage and serving

Apple tea can be served hot or cold. For having this tea cold, fill your serving glass with ice and top with this tea. 
You can store brewed tea in fridge upto a week.
