Baby Corn Masala Recipe with step by step picture.This is made with Baby Corn, Onion , Tomato and Ginger, Garlic
Ingredients
- 10 to 12 sliced lengthwise Baby Corn
- 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam
- 3 tablespoon finely chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 slit Green Chilli
- Water as needed
- For Grinding:
- 1 large chopped Onion
- 2 medium size chopped Tomato
- 2 cm piece Ginger
- 4 cloves peeled Garlic
Instructions
- Chop baby corn or slit it in lengthwise. Set aside.
- Take the ingredients for grinding in a blender and puree it finely.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add in cumin seeds and sizzle it.
- Add in the pureed masala and cook till oil separates.
- Add in spice powders, salt and sugar. Mix well
- Add in baby corn and water. Cover and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Let the steam go by itself.
- Open the cooker and serve.
